The October 20 Star Trek debut, covered by Star City Games, introduced the set’s mechanics, previews, Booster Fun treatments, Commander decks and product lineup. Beam Me Up, Face a Dilemma, Federation and Strange New Worlds lead the design vocabulary, with the latter counting differently named lands and supporting 10 new common tapped Planet lands that gain life on entry. The set also brings Headliner Signed Cards, classic Enterprise frames, LCARS and Klingon treatments, Schematics, Surge Foils and Scenes, because apparently one nostalgia layer was not enough. Star Trek releases November 13, while Showcase versions of Dr. Beverly Crusher, Captain James T. Kirk and Captain Kathryn Janeway are each listed at $179.99.
